$14M Funding.
CAKE’s latest round of fundraising surpassed expectations and closed at $14M. The considerably oversubscribed round, led by Creandum, included global fund e.ventures, in addition to a strong backbone of existing investors and a limited number of very specific and peak competence specialists.
Track Concept.
The new category of lightweight electric motorbikes needs its own space. As the electric motorbike doesn’t disturb and doesn’t pollute, the track can be built in your own backyard, a small empty land lot, inside an old warehouse, on rooftops or any other available public or private space.
First Street Bike.
The brand’s first street legal bike, the Kalk&, developed to combine off-road performance with urban clean, quiet and efficient commuting, is now shipping to customers across North America and Europe. Kalk& breaks barriers as the first performance bike that carries a street legal title.
