adidas partnered up with Parley for the Oceans to prevent plastic entering the oceans and to transform plastic into high performance sportwear. As a founding member, adidas supports Parley in communication, education, research and eco innovation. From threat into thread.

INSIGHT

The collaboration with Parley and the recycled plastic innovation position adidas a positive agent of change and thought leader in sustainability. Inspired by the believe of the young generation that we can innovate our way to a better future. But they trust only in realism and know how important it is to act now. 

INNOVATION

To manifest the commitment to mass-replace all plastic, we developed the guiding principles, tone of voice, and the visual direction for the collaboration between adidas and Parley for the oceans. In addition, we created a film explaining the urgency for action.

IMPACT

The article explaining the collaboration with the film was the worldwide most shared adidas story in social media in 2016.
